Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA’s)
Through experience in and knowledge in effective environmental management,
Prohibeo EMS can conduct EIA’s for current and intended operations and
activities and determine level of compliance with regulatory requirements.
The value contribution to clients is offered in evaluating their operations and
activities by conducting environmental impact assessments to determine current
levels of compliance. This also serves as a source of valuable information that
can be utilised in developing EMS’s for clients.
Development
of Environmental Management Systems (EMS’s)
Utilising methodologies, developed from scientific and business management
principles, a tailor-made EMS is developed for each client with consideration of
the client’s strategic objectives as well as regulatory requirements.
Value addition to the client is in the development of the EMS, which is done in
conjunction with the client taking into consideration strategic objectives and
available resource, and aligning these with regulatory requirements to ensure
compliance as well as improved efficiencies.
Development of the EMS, based on sound environmental management practices, will
ensure that agricultural operations that implement these systems will be in line
with regulatory requirements reducing the need from DEAT to monitor agricultural
activities to ensure sustained compliance.
Implementation Facilitation Services
The Prohibeo EMS team has several years of experience in process management in
various manufacturing applications as well as project management experience
ranging from product and process design to implementation. This ensures a solid
basis to assist with the implementation of an EMS in accordance with current
best management practices.

implementation of processes and procedures to ensure effective management of

environmental management requirements.

Monitoring
and Evaluation Services
Prohibeo EMS offers continued monitoring and evaluation services to clients
after implementation of EMS’s. This service includes the evaluation of
historical EMS data for trend analysis to determine if implemented EMS’s are
effectively managed.
This can be extended to include relevant operational data to evaluate overall
operational efficiencies and determine if client strategic objectives are met.
Where necessary this results of trend analysis and data evaluation can be
utilised to further refine initial EMS’s and client business strategies.
